Here is a brief on how it works.
PDASuite > Scan2Peach... the user can create a parts
list. If they choose to Print Labels, the PDA will save a text file on
the server with the product details. (text file saves in \pbsvb\AutoPrint
- make sure this folder is created first) If WSPrinting.exe is running, it will check the folder every few
seconds for a text file and print the label. After printing the label successfully, it will move the text
file to \Pbsvb\AutoPrint\Processed\ (this folder is automatically
created) The default label layout is pdaLabel.rdl, however you can
specify a custom label in the settings tab, as always, make sure you change the
filename otherwise it will be overwritten. The same rules of RDP resolution applies here, make sure they
have a 4:3 resolution for best print display. (alternatively, they can run
WSPrinting.exe on the physical server and that will not be affected by
resolution settings.) Requires .net4
Extract the attached zip to its own folder, eg: \pbsvb\PDAPrint
Create a shortcut on the desktop to WSPrinting.exe
Create the following folder \Pbsvb\AutoPrint - this is
where the PDA will send the print job.
Note: the barcode image is generated from a third party program.
In order for it to work, there are 2 files that need to live in
the same folder as the WSPrinting.exe
Barcode.dll and BarcodeLicense.xml (both
in the zip)
