Printing labels to the GK420 two labels up!!
I have the RDL labels working with the 2x1 side-by-side autopro layout.
I’ll bring the label printer in tomorrow so you guys can test with the PDA before setting up at AP Yass. If all works well, then I will included in netsuite.exe
Everything is attached / explained below.
Attached:

  • WSPrinting.exe         -  version 2.2

  • lab2x1.rdl                -  works well – don’t move anything around for now.

  • Plus other dlls etc

  • Extract zip into its own folder in \pbsvb

  • Settings to Use.....

  • Printer Driver

Used the default zebra driver that installed automatically with the printer.

All settings are default – except for below page layout.

RE: Printing RDL Labels from PDA.

Please see that this is posted on the forum for future reference.

http://www.peachinfo.net/downloads/WSPrinting_v2.1.zip

Here is a brief on how it works.

  • PDASuite > Scan2Peach...  the user can create a parts list.

  • If they choose to Print Labels, the PDA will save a text file on the server with the product details.  (text file saves in \pbsvb\AutoPrint  - make sure this folder is created first)

  • If WSPrinting.exe is running, it will check the folder every few seconds for a text file and print the label.

  • After printing the label successfully, it will move the text file to \Pbsvb\AutoPrint\Processed\  (this folder is automatically created)

  • The default label layout is pdaLabel.rdl, however you can specify a custom label in the settings tab, as always, make sure you change the filename otherwise it will be overwritten.

  • The same rules of RDP resolution applies here, make sure they have a 4:3 resolution for best print display. (alternatively, they can run WSPrinting.exe on the physical server and that will not be affected by resolution settings.)

  • Requires .net4

Extract the attached zip to its own folder, eg: \pbsvb\PDAPrint

Create a shortcut on the desktop to WSPrinting.exe

Create the following folder \Pbsvb\AutoPrint  - this is where the PDA will send the print job.

Note: the barcode image is generated from a third party program.

In order for it to work, there are 2 files that need to live in the same folder as the WSPrinting.exe

Barcode.dll and BarcodeLicense.xml  (both in the zip)
