      Reprice POS

The reprice function is helpful when a number of parts have been entered, and it is discovered that the wrong customer was selected.

Simply enter the new customer and press the Reprice button. All products on the

screen will be repriced with the pricing rules for that customer.

     Adjust POS Total

The total value of the invoice may be edited by clicking the Adjust Total button. The total will highlight and allow editing.

Each line item will then reprice proportionately to reflect the change.

This is often useful when quoting a rounded down price for a range of products.

          Quote POS

The POS screen can be used to store and print a quote for a specific customer. After entering the customer and product details press F8 Quote.

The quote can be retrieved at a later stage by entering the customer. All available orders and quotes will automatically display. Select the quote and the details will be retrieved into the POS screen. At this point it can be adjusted and stored and printed as a quote again, or updated with F10 as an invoice.

          Store/Recall POS

The caption of the button changes from Store to Recall depending upon the status of the transaction.

When products are on the grid the caption is set to Store. If a large transaction is being entered it is advisable to click Store to save the details to a temporary file. Should a problem arise the specific customer can be entered again and the Recall button selected. All line items should then reload and the transaction can be continued.

If an error occurs during an update it is often possible to use the recall function, as the temporary file is first automatically stored when the F10 update commences.

The file is saved to the current workstation for the specific customer code, so restore should be done from the same workstation.

     Till Totals

The Till Total button provides a summary of sales and payment methods for a particular day. From and to dates default to the current date, however any date range can be specified.

If a password is requested, enter a valid User ID.

Select Print-Dkt to print the summary to the docket printer.

Select Till Trans to view or print a detailed till transaction report on the report printer.

This is useful if the totals do not appear correct, as each transaction is itemised.

POS Report prints a till worksheet on the report printer.

The right hand side of the screen can be used for entering the number of coins and notes from the till, and assists in the cash count.

Where individual tills are counted, enter the User Id at the base of the screen. Only transactions from that logged user will be calculated or printed.
