To retrieve a previous invoice, first retrieve the customer. If the customer is the default cash sale account the following screen will appear -

Enter the invoice number and if found, the invoice will appear in the POS screen.

If the customer is any customer other than the cash sale account, a screen will appear giving you all the invoices for that customer. As you move down the left column, all parts for the specific invoice will display on the right. Enter, double click or F10 to retrieve the invoice.

Once the invoice is retrieved, press F10 to reprint or F9 to clear the screen.

Print/Update

When payment type and salesperson has been completed the Update screen will appear.

Either a large invoice or docket can be printed. The default will depend on whether account, inv or dkt is ticked in customer control. Unless specified account customers will default to the large invoice and cash sales to the docket printer. The print method for the current invoice can be changed at this point.

The relevant default printer will display. This can also be changed for the specific invoice.

Small value invoices may not require printed docket. In these cases select ‘Update but Don’t Print’.

Tick ‘Email Invoice’ to create a word document attachment and open outlook express.

The GL Code defaults to the sales account unless otherwise set at the base of the Customer Control screen. If required browse to another GL Code for the specific sale.

The update process performs the following functions –

- Updates customer graphs, sales and profit statistics.

- Updates product graphs, sales and profit statistics.

- Updates product quantity in stock and on order.

- Creates a detailed transaction for GST, sales and till transaction reporting.

- Creates detailed transactions for each product sold.

- Any customer orders satisfied will be deleted.

- If integration is selected, the transaction will post to the General Ledger.
